The Center is excited to host our first webinar of 2025, “Transforming Manufacturing with Intelligent Automation” on Wednesday, January 29, 12 PM – 1 PM featuring Dr. Mohammed Abouheaf, Associate Professor in the School of Engineering at Bowling Green State University. This webinar is designed for companies at any stage of their automation process. Webinar attendees will be invited to an in-person meeting in February for a deeper dive into intelligent automation.
Dr. Abouheaf earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He held research positions with the Institute for Data Valorization at the University of Montreal and the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa. Currently, Dr. Abouheaf is an Associate Professor of Intelligent Systems and a co-founder of the Robotics Engineering program at Bowling Green State University. His research focuses on systems and controls, as well as applied machine learning, with a particular emphasis on autonomous and intelligent systems. He serves on the AI for Process Control and Improvement team of the Northwest Ohio Glass Innovation Hub. Over the course of his career, Dr. Abouheaf has served as a PI or Co-PI on projects totaling nearly $2.6 million. His work has encompassed research in intelligent systems, workforce development for advanced manufacturing, and STEM education initiatives.
