Real Time PCR

It is a method by which the amount of the PCR product can be determined, in real-time, and is very useful for investigating gene expression. It couples amplification of a target DNA sequence with quantification of the concentration of that DNA species in the reaction. It is also known as quantitative PCR or Q-PCR.
